Browse All TopicsI cannot print ANY PDF files. I have a HP 4100 and it works fine in every area. EXCEPT when printing a PDF files from within acrobat reader 9. I select print and the printer and it goes through the load process, the printer appears on the taskbar and then imediatley disappears. The 'save to tex' box is NOT checked. There is no other printer attached to check. it is the case for ALL pdf files.. I have downloaded the newest Acrobat reader. Do I need to uninstall it and reinstall acrobat reader 9? or is there a simple answer?

this will not consume more memory and comparatively simple to use

Can you try the following:
In Adobe, go to File --> Print, and press the Advanced button. Under that window choose "Print As Image" and choose OK. Then try printing, and see if that helps.
