Even though the exchange server is going to be on the Windows server 2003 (with service pack 2), it has to be exchange 2007 sp1?
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI'm trying to install Exchange server 2007 on a 64bit windows 2003 machine. Everything passes and I've added the machine to the domain. When it comes to the readiness check, Organization Prerequisites passes and the Hub Transport Role prerequisistes fails, Client Access Role Prerequisites fails,, Mailbox Role Prerequisites fails. I get "Cannot find at least one global catalog server" for those three who fail. The Domain Controller is a windows server 2008 64bit and I've check the Global Catalog checkbox on Active Directory Sites and services (NTDS Settings) for the server. I've ran nslookup for gc._msdc.int.domain.com and it comes back withthe correct ip (192.168.1.20) which is the domain/GC server. What could be wrong here?

Do you have Exchange 2007 SP1 , cause that version is needed for Server 2008 support.
And your windows 2003 machine needs to have SP1.
