How to get HP Product number using wmi

I am looking for a way to get product number from hp desktop using wmi. i already using a script to get all the other datas but not able to get the product number alone.

Are you talking about the serial number of the mainboard ?
That is the unique id of your hardware.  It is used by windows setup for a default name of your computer during the setup process.

thanks for the reply i have already got the serial number but every hp product has the product number and serial number. I need to get the product number

i did some research and found out that HP call this product number as "SKU Number" in the bios. will this be of any help for find? i checked with 2 laptops and 1 desktop they are same.

...the above is all of the information you can pull from the bios using WMI.

Someone on another site pointed this out.  This has worked out so far on the few HP systems I have tested it against.
