Browse All TopicsI just had a new server installed, server 2000 upgraded to server 2003, and I am getting the following error in my event log. I believe this happens upon restart.
The DSRestore Filter failed to connect to local SAM server. Error returned is <id:997>.
Is this something to be worried about. If so how can I fix it?

Take backup of registry, REMOVE "dsrestore"
Reset the DSRM password in the normal mode
