I am also getting this error on two SBS2003 servers. Has anyone found a solution?

Browse All TopicsI am trying to install Security Update for Windows Server 2003 (KB960082 / MS09-004) on an SBS 2003 SP2 server. Upon starting the update, I receive the error message: "The instance name specified is invalid", and can go no further. Any ideas what causes this error.

- Then run the following command:
"SQLWMSDE-KB960082-x86-ENU
Note: "INSTANCENAME" is the name of the MSDE instance (i.e. sharepoint, UUDI, WSUS, ADMT, etc.
