The check box "External IP address is translated by NAT" is checked. Also, uur internal DNS servers host a zone for external lookups. When I run an nslookup from the edge server to located the FQDN of the AV Edge external interface it returns the external IP - Not the private IP of the edge interface sitting in the DMZ.

On the Edge Server make sure the box is checked for NAT on the A/V Edge Properties. Also the Edge server must be able to resolve the Edge A/V FQDN to the external public IP. You may need to add a host file entry on the Edge or update internal DNS to include a host record for the external Edge A/V FQDN. Also if your Edge Internal interface certificate includes a SAN the Subject Name has to be listed last in the SAN list.
