Locked out of SBS 2008

Hi There, we have an SBS 2008 server that has only 1 administrator account on it (Admin) which we can no longer log in as. When we try it brings up the message 'You cannot log on because the logon method you are using is not allowed on this computer'. There are only 2 people with this account password and neither of them have been anywhere near the server recently. How could htis happen? and how do we get access to our server?
Thanks.....

This sounds like it is not in the Domain Admins group...

Are you logging on to box via the console (physically) or over terminal services?

Is that admin account the original administrator account that has been renamed, or did you create it as an additional account as a best practice?

Are you able to connect to Active Directory Users and Computers from another server / workstation, or are you locked out of that too?

This was the default account taht was setup when we ran the original Setup wizards upon installing SBS2008. We are logging in directly to the server and have also tried over terminal services. All other users can login to their workstations and work as per usual, exhcnage is working etc, it jsut seems to be the administrator account that doesnt work, as well as we cannot log in as any other (standard) user on the server, we get the same message. Does it sound like AD is corrupt?
Can you log into a workstation with the admin account?

If so, this may seem a little off topic, but see if you have permission to do this:

1. From your workstation (as admin), run services.msc
2. right click 'Services (Local)' on the left side, and click 'connect to other computer'
3. Type in the server name
4. See if you can connect
No it says Error 5: Accessis denied
But you can log in to the workstation?
As Admin that is...
