Frustrated!!!!!
I am performing an installation of SCCM2007 on my network. So far things have gone rather well. I am now trying to push the clients out but I am having problems. It looks like I am running into an issue with WMI. the CCM.log file shows an error with WMI. I am trying to connect to some test systems but cannot. I have the following:
1. XP SP2 machine with windows firewall enabled. I have opened ports 3389 and 135 for management.
2. I have setup GPO to allow administration from the SCCM machines only. This does work
3. Setup access to the admin shares from the SCCM machines.
I have tested this over and over again. My system works fine running Windows Vista with no firewall. I have disabled the firewall on the XP machine but cannot seem to get connected. I can remote manage the machine but cannot connect to WMI. All services are running as well on the XP Machine.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
