Uninstalling Registry Defender

I have registry defender on my computer and it's causing a whole heck of problems.

I've got two questions

1.How did it get there, a search online seems to suggested that it came in as a spyware.
2. How do i uninstall it. There are not uninstaller, nothing in add and remove programs.
