User profiles messed up after change in user rights.

Asked by grclark78 in MS Forefront, SBS Small Business Server

I did a group policy setting to restrict local administrator rights, affecting all my users (65).  I now have three that when logging in their new local "power user" rights have their profiles somewhat messed up; some icons missing, Outlook on Exchange server not working, etc.

We don't use roaming profiles.  I tried explicitly reassigning their rights to their local profile folders in Docs and Settings, but that didn't help.

Is there a way to fix this without deleting their old profiles and building a new one from scratch?  Start Free Trial
