Browse All TopicsI use ISA 2004 to setup VPN. When I establish vpn from internet, I always get this error message:
Error 619. A connection to the remote computer could not be established, so the port used for this connection was closed....
I am pretty sure that my VPN server 192.168.1.10 config has no problem, because I tried to connect from 192.168.1.5. I am able to make the connection. It's only from the internet.
My vpn server is behind my linksys router, and I also open the port there PPTP 1723-1723 / L2TP 1701-1701 to 192.168.1.10.
Eveytime when I use my public ip 76.x.x.x, I always see this message.

-check the VPN client, on the options page, and make sure include windows domain is not checked
-verify GRE is allowed to pass. I don't know how you do that with ISA but it can cause a 619 error, though most often you get a 721.
-If the server site uses 192.168.1.x, make sure the client site doesn't (not the PPP/VPN adapter at the client site, but rather the local LAN) the two sites must be different.
