Browse All TopicsI have an ISA server 2004 with about 30 users and an active directory. I have configured it as a basic firewall router.
I need to be able to track activity per user. In the session monitor the client user name is anonymous. I tried to configure the access rule to allow only authenticated users access but after performing this action there was no Internet connection at all for all users so I reverted to the old configuration (all users).
N.B: The ISA server is a member of the domain.
Do you have any idea or hint regarding how to resolve this issue?

Hello there,
utorials/2 004recordu serinfo.ht ml
User information associated with a connection request is only available when requests sent by Web Proxy and/or Firewall clients, so the machine in your office have to be set up as either. When they are in SecureNAT mode they appear as anonymous in the logs.
Have a read through this and it should get the info you want from your logs
