Hello Experts
I'm setting up a new ISA 2004 server, but I donno if it's possible to do so when using this Server with 2 Internet Gateways.
The first gateway is an ADSL router, The second gateway device is a WIMAX ZyXEL MAX-206M2 Modem..
Is this possible and what should I consider after setting up the server? should I disable DHCP server ? What if I disabled DHCP server would that affect the work of ISA server on clients when applying rules?
Note that I'm using these 2 gateways incase one of them stopped working, I can change the gateway on the clients from to different gateway that works.
Help is appreciated.

The Wimax device is using IP 192.168.1.1 which is the gateway for clients, but it keeps on disconnecting, So I keep changing the gateway for clients to the ADSL which is 192.168.1.10.
If I setup the ISA server will that matters? I mean having a static IP address or changing gateway from time to time?
Having two gateways set on computers is a non-starter - with or without the ISA Server. The purpose of the default gateway is to receive traffic that is not on the local subnet. If there are two, it will never consistently know which one to use.
If you have ISA installed with two nics then you only need the one gateway. On the outside interface of ISA, you can use various routers that handle two wan connections or switch what you have and this will deal with the routing for you.
you can configure ISA server as clients gateway. and configure ISA server to use (ADSL or WIMAX).
connect the external ISA NIC to WiMAX then if WIMAX disconnected you have to connect the ADSL as alternative of WIMAX. this way will help you to do changes only on one box (ISA server) instead of to do it on all clients.
LAN--->ISA------>(WIMAX or ADSL).
note: you can not connect WIMAX and ADSL at the same time. you have to switch them manually.
I think there's no Use of this coz I have each device on separate place, Can't connect them directly to the server.
I will just go on with what Keith said to use one gateway... in case the Wimax disconnects, Then i'm forced to change the clients's gateway manually to use the ADSL router's gateway.

Not supported in this configuration, regardless of ISA being involved. Only one gateway can be used per machine.
