Loadbalance a TMG/Exchange 2010 EDGE/FPE installation
Hi,
I havent seen a similar question to this so I am posting it (if there is an existing thread then please point me to it).
I would like to know if I am going to colocate my Forefront TMG 2010, EDGE 2010 and Forefront Protection for Exchange 2010 instances is it recommended to install the servers in a WLB array or to rather utilise a loadbalancing appliance such as Kemp for example to achieve the HA and redundancy both internally and externally?
What are the gotchas for this?
I am aware of the announced discontinuation of TMG etc but that does not concern me.
In my opinion the route of utilising the WLB/NLB array seems to be more complex and less efficient?
Cheers
Lionel
