TI-89 for LP (linear programming)
Can I use TI-89 to get the answer of linear programming, the example is below. I want to get the max value of Z with the 3 constrains
example:
Maximize Z = 5X1+4X2
subject to
(1) X1 + X2 <= 5
(2)10X1+ 6X2 <= 45
(3)X1, X2 >= 0
example:
Maximize Z = 5X1+4X2
subject to
(1) X1 + X2 <= 5
(2)10X1+ 6X2 <= 45
(3)X1, X2 >= 0

Hi, it looks need some procedures. is there any other simple way to slove this problem?
thanks a lot
thanks a lot
I'm not very familiar with LP and not familiar at all with TI-89 but isn't the simplex method simple enough?

download "simplex2 " and install to Ti-89, is much easy to use .
