According to atheists.org...
"Out of 250 Jewish-Christian writings, sixty-six have arbitrarily been declared canonical by Protestants. The rejected books are of the same general character as those now published together as the 'Holy Bible.' Circumstances rather than merit determined selection."
Does anyone know of English translations of any of the other writings? I know someone who has tried to locate copies of some or any of them to no avail at a local university library. Or maybe even better would be recommendations for a book discussing the history of these and the reasons the KJV contains the ones it does, and not any of the others.
