GCM File Extension

Hello All,

I have downloaded a "Program" that once extracted from RAR format leave me with a 1.4GB *.GCM file
I have looked this up and found that it is a GeoConcept Map file.
But I have no clue how to;
A. Extract said file or
B. Burn it
Is it possible that it is a DVD-R format of some sort.
Any help would be appreiciated :)
