hidden partition
how do u unhide a hidden partition or drive...anyone know how...?cos i have a hidden partition of abt 8 gb and i cant use it?any suggestions or ideas?

And of course, if you have no important files there, and it was not there when you bought your computer, you can delete it an create another partition, for instance.

Depending on how it was hidden, you should be able to access it using Windows Disk Management utilities. Right click on 'My Computer' -> Manage -> Storage -> Disk Management. This should show you all of the partitions on the drive as long as it isn't hidden to the OS as well. You can then reformat it if you want, or unhide it. Just be careful and make sure that you don't want what is on that drive (such as system restore files from the computer manufacturer). If you want to add that free space to your current drive, you will have to use a partitioning program like the previous posts suggested.

You can use PARTITION MAGIC to unhide partion.
or if u have WINDOWS2000 or higher version OS on your PC then one utility is provided:
in administrative tool --> computer management --> disk management
using disk management u can create / delete / convert / hide / unhide any partition.
