Calfiornia Vehicle Code: Undercarriage Lights

Greetings,

I have undercarriage lights on my car, where bulb is not shown, so you can only actually see the glow from the light.

I need documentation which proves this is legal or illegal.   <------------------------------------------------------

From what i've read and heard from po-po, It's legal if the bulb is not seen.
There was a court case where the guy got a ticket for the lights, he fought that the bulb couldn't be seen only the glow from the bulb.
He said this was the equivalent from a Neon sign causing glow on the road.
He won his case.

I've been googling like crazy and can't find schizat, but am looking for it still.
I'm not taking my lights off as i could win the case using case the case if i ever got ticketed for it, i'm just looking for written evidence.

500 point finders fee. =)

Depends on which country you are in.

For all I know it is illegal seeing the light is distracting. And distracting people on the road is considered dangerous and thus illegal.

But give us a location to be sure :)

Hi Shekky and Co.  LOL
lol - nothing bolo can do about this post!
:-) hehe
wonder how long till Tad and stone get spam in their mail box and come walking in here.

btw shekky, you need to update the link in your profile. haha
Generally I unsubscribe to almost every answered question so I would anticipate that they will have a certain level of intelligence to do the same.
i never unsuscribed. for a while i just put the EE mail server IP on my spam list.

now i have a new email address dedicated for EE spam.
lmao
EE  <@> phileoca <DOT> com

shekky, u gotta share this... lmao.

this person on ebay is trying to sell this piece of crap buy having a model wannabe pose with it.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=51227&item=5761955674&rd=1#ebayphotohosting
i can't do that Phil - she looks like she is sweet and I wouldn't want !sstards like rollins and Xx being bolo's
but who would try to take advantage of a computer geek by posing with a hardware device? :-)
her boyfriend is an abusive drug addict and will burn her with a ciggy if she does not do it.

Okay, I'm here...  what did I miss?

...and why are we back in this old defunct Q again?
because you didn't unsub
hey TAD!  lmao

welcome to my EE BLOG. haha
shekky.. lmao...

Phil be nice and I mean it!
<click>
hey, i gave the correct answer, and provided a solution.

hey stone  <g>
I think when he clicks it means he is turning us off (hard to tell since he lost his watch though)
booo.

where's kEk?
Wertky started playing FFXi and joined my guild. haha. i don't play anymore but my guild does and still uses my forums to communicate.
he's a funny guy.
KeK is at the bottom of my profile - email him
i know his email and YIM.  he whipped me in chess one day. haha
he is a nice guy.

>>he is a nice guy.

perhaps... but... well, he's REPUBLICAN.   And worse yet, he's going to raise his daughter to be republican as well.

can you image... a female asian republican... it's like advertising "Jews for Jesus".  It's just not right.
Actually, he's raising his daughter to Know Christ.

Can you imagine... a female asian who has the fire in her heart to love the world, to feed the hungry, to clothe the poor, to shelter the homeless...
>>love the world, to feed the hungry, to clothe the poor, to shelter the homeless

I do all that because I am a member of the human race, not because of... <insert random religious defemations here>

At the risk of turning this into a political thread...

Why is it that the extreme right wing tends to be ulta-religious (whose fundemental beliefs are: love the world, to feed the hungry, to clothe the poor, to shelter the homeless (amoung other things)), but yet they also support big business to the detrement of the hungry, poor, and homeless?

It's a bit of an oxymoron isn't it?  Or am I missing something?
you are all missing the g-string thread in the lounge
"earth is full, go home" - kEk

shekky.. no link?  :-)
it was deleted! sorry!
shekky, why does TAD bother me so much?

he always talks about websites being biased when anyone references them for an argument,  but he's allowed to reference all he wants and argue with kEk.

TAD..  iraqibodycount.org .....   Your website is biased, therefore it is inaccurate...

and for ONCE i'm rooting for DR who just shoved that website up your exit only.
lol Phil - I just ignore what bothers me most of the time or I unsub though I do sincerely love to play with some of the bolo's :)

>> shekky, why does TAD bother me so much?
put <ignore> on - trust me it works!

biased?  perhaps, but it is the only site out there that even attempts at making a guess as to the casualty ratings.

What is your guess?  In two years, how many innocent Iraqis have we killed?  10?  100?  1000? 5000?

What is a good number?

That site quotes a mere 18,000.  That sounds reasonable, but if it even half that count where does the point of my argument falter?

Does 3,000 American deaths justify the additional 3,000 coalition deaths?  Plus *COUNTLESS* Iraqi deaths?  Since when was Iraw responsible for 9/11?

Very conservative estimates peg Iraqi citizen death counts near 100K.   That is 30 times what Bin Laden did here... and Sadam wasn't even part of that!!!

ps> IraqiBodyCount is not as biased as you may think... I've seen other sites quoting more than 50K civilian deaths.
religion forces people to fight - <it appears to me>  isn't there a peace loving religion out there? I seriously doubt it.

The eastern philosophies...
Toa-ism, Budists, Hindu....

It's the Jeruselem based religions that are violent

Judeoism, Christians, Muslims...

Oh, and also the ancient religions now classified as mythology
Egyptian, Roman, Greccian....
The problem is not with the religions (e.g. the teachings), it is with the people who claim to follow them but don't.

Hi everyone!  Sorry I'm late to the party.  My three republican kids have kept me very busy!  (That's not a complaint!)

I hope you are all doing well.

>> My three republican kids have kept me very busy!

wait... didn't you adopt from China?

An asian female who is republican?
That's just wrong.

But hey... as long as she's happy!  (just don't be too disappointed when she grows up to become a dem!)

:-b:.
I have three adopted kids of various backgrounds.  I'll be happy if they all grow up thinking for themselves.  :)

a multi-culteral family?  That's pretty nifty.

I was suppose to go to Guatemala two weeks ago to pick up my son, but there has been a lot of instability n the government lately so they aren't issuing passports or birth certificates.

We'll be adopting from China as soon as I qualify for their age restrictions.

:-b:.
Phil wake up!
Tad, I hope you can meet your son soon, I know the anticipation you are feeling and he needs a good home.  Patience is a virtue in China so hang in there.  At least now you know about how old I am :P
As I understand it, in China you are not given a referral until sometime near the end of the process.  In Guatemala we are given a referral as soon as our dossier is translated into Spanish (roughly 9 months ago).

We've gotten several dozen photos of our son in the last 9 months and this past January we went down to Guatemala for a visit trip.  The trip would have been amazing even without getting to have our son for an entire day (26 hours in total).

The kids are adorable!!

You... not so much.  :-P

>> Phil wake up!

Sorry i been away.  Being away from _TAD_ Is good for the body mind and soul.
which i am no longer debating with anyone no matter how retarded they may or may not be.
arguing on EE is like competing in the special olympics.  It doesn't matter who wins, you're still retarded.

btw, kEk, welcome to the party. =)

I started playing WoW recently. =) hehehe. Gorefiend server Horde side if any of you are geeky enough to join in.
Even you TAD. just not DR. =)
absolutely sweet!!! thanx!
i got some new pics.... not for the faint of heart though.

april's updates were from monday April 4, 2005.

Cool!!

Although...  you never explained how Jason Hickey was responsible for your "evening's entertainment".
hmm that toe is disgusting Phil :P~
:-)

okay here's what happened.  Jason told me our band is practicing on friday night, but he needs me to play electric guitar instead of keyboard.  So i rearranged my room at home so that i could practice electric guitar.
while rearranging my room, i cut my foot on the bottom of the mini fridge.
didn't really hurt, but that cut was wicked deep.  many many layers.

and i nicknamed it my Franken-Toe
>>wicked deep

Do you live in the Boston area?

If it were me, I'd probably just would have used a tube of Krazy glue instead of going to the doctor (and then curled up in the fetal position for an hour or so).  I absolutely *hate* going to the doctor... there are always sick people there!

LOL.  no tad.. i did worse.  I stuck a band aid on it for a 2 hours.  then i saw that it wasn't going to close by itself, so i called and activated my medical insurance (haha), and got on the way.
and no, i'm from california.

i asked the doctor about a butterfly stitch or glue, but he said where the cut was, there would be no way to walk without the wound opening up every step.
I am looking in the Boston area for work - that is still gross Phil.
who's this mike lebria idiot?
does he not know that i work for estate planning company and no more than him?
does he not know that i will crush him? :-)

http:Q_21385745.html
HAHAHAHAHA!

>>does he not know that i work for estate planning company and [know] more than him?

Probably not... I didn't even know you worked for an Estate Planning Company.
you should ask cs to remove that link form your post since this guy ratted on you https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/21386262/TOS-violation.html
what a crying piece of crap baby. he just it made it to my profile Sh!t list
:-)

you know, this is really suitable for the lounge, but i'm still not going  in there, but thought I would share :-)

 Sorry,
The guy who posted this question actually got run over by a car and is intensive care with 12 broken ribs.  We should probably put it on hold for a while.

So it looks to me like something just less than the earth imploding happened, just as he prophesied. :-)
*LOL*

That's a classic!

I always talk about "stepping off a curb and getting hit by a bus" (it seems to be taken better than "When I get around to dumping all you losers for a better job").  Perhaps I should stop suggesting that... I'd had to have a self-fulfilling prophecy!

:-)
hehe. i got all the points for that living will creation which means  3000 poinks for the month.
  yay!  :-)
how's my ol' friends doing.

you know what happens when you stay out of the lounge?  you actually get work done, and you earn real EE points.
(just broke 100k in Access).

And i'm actually a featured expert in one of the EE categorys.  you might LYAO if you find out which category it is.
awww philocaca!!! Nice to see ya again.  I do not spend much time at ee nowadays either = pop in between stuff - take care!
I don't even have my 3K poinks for the month yet, so I may not be around next month!  ;)
kEk answer a few tech questions :)
a few tech questions?    u mean 2 tech questions.  :-0

i hardly answer any and boom i've got enough for 2 months. ;-)

and shekaka, i saw how u spelled my name ;-)

Hey, I've got good news for once!!

I'm going to be gone all next week! (which I'm sure will thrill most everyone)

I'm going to Guatemala to bring home my son!
That is good news Tad!  ... for him and for us!  ;)
Good for you and yours _TAD_

Gosh... today has been a good day for me.

This morning I found out that I'm going to pick up my son next week, and this afternoon I got a call from a recruiter for Kohl's corp.  He wants me to come in for an interview later this week....  and I wasn't even looking for a job!

...eh, even if the Kohl's thing doesn't go anywhere, it's nice to know that my skill-set is desirable enough to at least get me an interview somewhere.

Now all I have to do is throw together a resume before tomorrow!

Good luck!  It seems the winds of change are blowing your way.  Is this your first child?
Yes, he is a first child for both of us.  We haven't even gotten him home yet and we've already been talking about adopting a 2nd and 3rd.

We'll see how long those discussions last.  A few years ago I would have told you that 6 kids wouldn't have been enough.  Then I got to watch a 5 mo old for a full 24 hours....  I am so glad that we electd to adopt, I don't think I'd do very well with infants.    Toddlers on up are more my speed.

In general toddlers bond more quickly with men than infants do -- mostly because men bond more quickly with toddlers because they are more interactive than infants.  But having adopted both, we found infants easier to take care of because they just lay there ... they can't move!  Also because they are younger they have less difficulty with attachment when they become toddlers.  But have no worries!  Young kids are very resilient and they will never remember anything before age 2 ... which is good because that is when parents make a lot of mistakes!  :D
i think it's age 3 that children won't remember anything.
I was talking to my gf about that last night, she's got her masters in physical therapy and they have to take a neurological class.
after taking that class, she's amazed that scientists can study and learn and not believe in God.  With how involved the brain is, there's no way evolution could have made that.

anyway, back to topic of memory, she mentioned something about the brain chemistry before the age of 3 that's still devolping thus childredn not remembering stuff from before age 3, give or take  a few months.
I believe it is related to speech development.  A child's long-term memory is enabled by their ability to speak because it is then they have learned to use symbols to quantify their experiences.  Just an observation...
Why do you have this thread in your profile? It's not worth reading.
... and there's only one way you could know that.
omi they are coming out of the woodwork now <shek lurking>
He keeps it there to attract the n00bs.
I was just looking in his profile to see what http:Q_21511778.html was about. I don't normally read philocea's threads since I don't normally try to communicate with people whouse 'u' and 'ur' txt spk. I couldn't even read this one to start with since it was initially posted with an unbroken line of -------------------------------------------------------------- in the question.
The point is, if it's not worth reading then surely it is not worth posting in either -- since now you are a part of this worthless thread!  ;)
it wasn't pointless.  before i went back in the lounge, this is where we talked.
but now i know how andy truly feels about me and my threads.... the poinks i give him will show him my appreciation too.
oh c'mon, I was just giving him a hard time.  I'm sure he didn't mean anything by it.  Andy, kyle was using this thread to stay in touch during his "vacation" from the Lounge.
lol kEk, not you.....  kEk is okay.   <><
I knew what you meant.  :)  I'm just saying that you shouldn't hold hard feelings towards Andy for all this.  I don't think he meant it to be harsh and I hope he didn't take it that way from us.
I still don't get it - everybody gets it, but I just don/t.
