Mac OSX, Airport, Netgear wireless (ME102)

I have a new iMac G5 and am trying to add it to the 802.11b network.  It has AirPort built in.  I can detect my wireless network, but it never accepts the password when I try to connect to it.

I am using WEP.

Why is this?  I am a total Mac newbie
