Can't print to HP PhotoSmart 7550 printer with OS X 10.4.2 and a Linksys wireless WPS54G Print server

I have a small home network using a Linksys WAP (WAP11) and a DirecWay 6000 for internet service.  I have two Macs (A PowerBook G4 running 10.4.2 and an iMac G5 running 10.4.2) and a Gateway TabletPC (running Windows XP Tablet edition) and a HP Photosmart 7550 printer and a Linksys WPS54G wireless print server.  I can not get the Mac computers to print with the wireless print server.  Both Mac computers will print correctly when connected directly to the USB port on the printer but will not print wireless.  The PC prints fine both connected and wireless.   Both the Macs and the PC work fine with the WAP and the DW 6000.  The Print Server sees the current network and linked up fine.

Both Macs will see the print server using AppleTalk and I have downloaded the newest hpijs drivers for the PhotoSmart 7550.  With the computer configured to print via AppleTalk it activates and printer and prints a single black dimond in the upper left of the paper.  That's it.

When I configure the Mac computers to print via IPP printing, LPD, HP IP Printing and use the IP address of the server (192.168.0.12) and L1 or P1 or P2 or L1 as the Queue (Each one at different times) and go to a program to print I get nothing from the printer.  When I go to the Printer Utility it shows that the printer 'Stopped printing..." I get no output from the printer.

I've followed the directions from other posts on this sight but have not had any luck other than just getting a black dimond usind the Apple Talk setting.  Would it be better to get an Apple Airport Express base and try that or does anyone know if it's a printer issue?  Could the WAP used for internet be affecting it?  The Print server is only connected to the printer, not the WAP or DW6000 via CAT5E. All com to the printe server is wireless.

Any help is useful
