Ok I have a E-mac running 10.4.7 and a Hp laptop running Xp SP2.  I connect the E-mac by cable to a Wbr- 1310 D-link wireless router and connect to this wirelessly with the laptop.... the internet runs excellent.  Also connected to the router via Lan is a DPR-1260 print server and connected to the print server is a Canon ip5200 printer and it is compatible with the print server and runs on both computers when hooked via usb.  Now the laptop prints to the printer no problem through the print server ....where the problem rises the Mac osx does not reconize the printer in the print utility setup.  I have tried IP and appletalk and pretty much everything. D-link says it will work according to the box and there tech department but will not discuss how to set up the emac because they don't support OSX???? .  Apple when approached says it with D-link ......so can some one help me OSX 10.4 says neworking is sooo easy??? I have made sure apple talk is active and have pinged the server and have lost no packets.Start Free Trial
