I wish to perminantly mount an external SMB share (hanging off a Terastation) to a mount point on a Mac running OSX.
The mount (e.g. /mnt/globalshare) should be accessable by all users on the Mac.
The SMB credentials will be fixed.
On the Linux box, I would normally put something like
globalshare -fstype=smbfs,credentials=
/root/.sha
repass ://192.168.1.100/globalsha
re
and let the automount sort it out.
It this possible on the OSX box?
Thanks
