eServeError - Apple OS X 10.5 - cant connect to domain

When i try to join my macbook to my windows domain, i get the following error

Unable to add to the domain
An unexpected error of type -14910 (eServerError)
occurred.

Ive never had this problem before, its just come back from service with a new HDD, but there is nothing else. it use to be on the domain, ive removed it from AD, i cant think of any reason why it wont let me join?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appricated, or anyone who has had this problem before
