Tomcat Performance problem...

Asked by SflahertyEE in Application Servers

Hello folks,
I have a performance issue that I was hoping someone may be able to help me with....Below is the environment...
        1) RHE v3 U4 server
        2) Apache version - 2.52
        3) Tomcat version - 4.1.31

This is an application server that we are currently running load test's on.
We are load testing application. 10 users every min. After approx 15 min, browser starts to throw "page not found" errors, but not consistently. Also, inconsistently, the app produces broken links on images. The jk.log (Apache/tomcat connector log file) shows the following error:

Error connecting to Tomcat. Tomcat is probably not started or listening on the wrong host/port (127.0.0.8010).

We're just starting to look at the cause. Haven't made it too far. Guessing it could be that we've run out of threads on tomcat?

Any help on the issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
S
