Try calling the isp back and have them test the line back to your location and the circuit where you connect. I had the same problem at my house. It would constantly disconnect. They would do line tests and all would be fine. These only tested from the circuits to the local juction. Then they tested the connection on their end. Turns out we were the only ones on that circuit and it was bad. Explained that no others had called to complain. Then they tested from our house to the junction box. We had to have the line replaced from out house to the junction box across the street. A tree limb had rubbed a hole in the line and the wires were exposed to the weather.
Hope it helps.

if your modem is loosing sync or linc that is the light is flashing then your losing the physical connection to the exchange. this can be due to poor line quality. If you contact your phone company and ask them to perform a dc test on the line this can test for basic line quality.
if this is ok and there is no problems it could be drivers I know alcatel usb modems disconnect every 6minutes(no sync) with some drivers.
Im assuming the filtering is all correct
