  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. connecting a DSL broadband modem to a broadband router

Hi, i have a Aztech DSL 305EU DSL modem router and a Dlink DI-804HV broadband VPN router and 2 workstations.

I used to have a connect the DSL modem to a switch with Uplink port , and 2 workstations connect to Port 2 , 3 and it works fine . but now my switch is broken. I got myself a broadband VPN router which is 4 LAN Ports + 1 WAN port .

how can i make it function like a normal switch or connect my 2 workstations to the internet ?

i did try to connect the DSL modem to one of the LAN port of the router, but cant work :x

Please advise.. thanks
