HI
I have broadband internet and I get 2 IP's from my provider. so I've bought a router and connected my old PC to the internet... Both PC's have internet, but the problem is that I can't change the router settings... when I try to go to http://192.168.2.1 .. I have to enter a useranem and passowrd... in the documentation that came with the router says that I have to leave it blank, so there is no need for a password. I only have to click OK... but when I do that, I et an error: Access Error: Unauthorized
there is no other password in the documentation
what do I have to do? can I recover/reset the password

I've tried to connect to 10.0.0.2 and 192.168.0.1 as you said, but I get an error (can't find the server) ... I can only connect to 192.168.2.1 but the pasword doesn't work.. I've also tried the one you gave me... in the documentation of the router aren't any other passwords, I have to leave it blank

In your browser enter http://192.168.2.1
enter user name= admin
and password= 1234
That should work for that model. Let me know how you make out. Note letters are case sensitive.

I looked at a couple of SWEEX units, and the default IP's were 10.0.0.2 and 192.168.0.1. I wonder if yours is not set to the default configuration and therefore someone has changed the password. Also, on the units I looked at the 192.x.x.x ones had a blank username and password as you mentioned, but the 10.x.x.x ones had a username = admin and a password = epicrouter You could try that username and password combination.
If you wish to reset your router to the factory settings hold in the little reset button with a pen for at least 5 seconds. The routers lights, 1-4 will go out indicating it is reset. The manual doesn't suggest it but I find less trouble after a reset if you let it sit for a minute and then unplug the power for 30 seconds and reboot.
If you are still having problems post the model number of the SWEEX here and we can see if we can resolve.
