I have a small network behind the Linksys Wirless router.
I also have the need to access my computer from the WAN internet thru GoTo MyPC.
Both the Westell 6100 and the Linksys Wirless have embedded Web Servers and can be configured.
In general terms, can you tell me how to best setup this configuration on both the Westell and the Linksys?
For example which device should assign the DHCP to my LAN and what protocols on the modem would be the best to use for a suggested network configuration.
Please give IP assignment examples for the LAN settings on the devices (i.e. default gateway, IP's for each device, etc.).
Thanks for your help.

Confirm that the modem's aceess IP is 192.168.1.x. If so, put your wireless router to 192.168.0.x. In fact if you haven't made any changes to the router, it is default. If so, you could just connect router to modem and all the computers to the router (either via ethernet cable or wirelessly). Let both routers and computers be setup to obtain the IP automatically. If you use PPPOE, you need to put your username and password on the router. If not, nothing else need to be configured. You should be good to go.
