How to remote into my home PC from work.

I'm running Win XP Pro from my office and I'd like to remote into my desktop at home which is running Win XP Pro as well.  My internet connection is via Cable at 10MB/sec.  We're obviously on a different network so how can I remotely connect to it from work? Is there a free way of doing this? if not...what are the options?
