Can I connect two ADSL modems to the same ISP?
A small Australian business has two networks.
Attempts to communicate with the internet using for both networks using a single ADSL Modem (Netgear DG834 v3) have failed because of conflicting Firewall requirements.
We have bought a second ADSL modem (Linksys AG300). The business has multiple phone lines.
Is it possible to connect to the Australian ISP Provider using the same account (username@bigpond)?
I assume that the account is set up to be used only at the local phone exchange. Should a second ISP account be obtained? Or would it be possiblle to have both modems logging onto the same account at the same time?
