Internet on VPC 2007 SP2

I have broadband connection on my laptop and i use to do my development work on Vertual PC 2007 ..whta is happing when ever i am getting any error or i need more information i have minimize my VPC for searching on laptop...to avoid to come on laptop i want  internet access  on Vertuap PC

how can i do it....?Thanks in advance.

Do you have the network "port" enabled within Virtual PC 2007?  To check, look at:

Edit->Settings the select Networking (left column), then set Adapter 1 to your real networking hardware.

This should enable your Virtual instance to see the network.

I configured netwrok adapter in VPC still i ;m unable to access the internet.

I tried to  by configuring the wireless  router IP address as well as  laptop IP address as default gateway on VPC but it work.

do i hav to configure any more setting.

Another way you can do it is to select "Shared Networking (NAT)". The you don't have to configure anything on your router.  Also, make sure in the virtual machine that the TCPIP settings are configured for DHCP (this is the default).
