Browse All Topics I have a problem I have DSL, windows xp pro, I want to learn how to send faxes using my pc , I have winfax pro installed
I have installed a fax modem in my pc just to have it connected to the phone line using a splitter with a filter I think I'm doing what I'm suppose to do , one other thing that I have to mention , is that in my regular phone no call can be made be on the same are code, in other words if I want to make a phone call, I have to use a pre paid phone card , just so you know I did this cause I have two teenagers at home and they got a little out of line , using the phone so I had to this , my , or one of my qwestion is when you send a fax from your pc , is this like sending an e_mail or is this using the phone line as if your were sending it from a regular fax machine, cause if this was the case ,I probably will not be able to send
any faxes from my pc do to the restriction on my phone ( no calls be on the same are code without a prepaid phone card)
I hope I was as clear as possible, I need your help
and how do i gonfigure winfax pro to be able to use a calling card , in order to send faxes using this type of sofware
