We have a fleet of Dell Laptops that use Sprint Wireless Broadband cards. All of the D600, 610, and 620 have worked fine for the past few years with all makes of AirCards. We recently began buying the D630's a few months ago and 90% of the time put an aircard in it will freeze the system up. sometimes when you just put the card in and sometimes when you start the software(with the card in), and it just freezes. The other 10% of the time it runs fine. Neither SPrint or Dell had a solution or a problem noted when I called them yesterday. After speaking to a few IT buddies of mine , they said it was a "common issue" that they'd been experiencing as well. I have not found any documentation on this specific problem and was wondering if anybody here has had the same issues or found a solution to the problem. It is porbably just going to have to waiit for a BIOS update but, untill then our field guys are without Internet connection.
