on partition C: windows xp is installed and was working properly but when i install on drive D: Windows 7 , the xp cannot boot how can i fix it ???????

Windows 7 and windows XP Problem
Hello there i have a problem today with my pc i was using on partition C: micorsoft windows xp professional sp2, and i make a new partition on Drive D: and i install on it microsoft windows 7 but the windows xp cannot boot properly unless the windows 7 is working normally haty can i do to fix the winxp boot please help ????

If W7 is still installed, try:
bcdedit (Vista/W7 boot.ini replacement)

If uninstalled, boot the XP CD and choose Command Console, then type in
FIXMBR <enter>
