Onedrive Synchronization not completing

Whenever I have had problems with my OneDrive synchronization, rebooting my computer would resolve it.

Does your OneDrive have sufficient space to accommodate the 1.7 GB, plus some overhead space?

Yes it does.

What Office version are you running? Make sure that the latest service pack and patches are installed. In the "Update OneDrive" page, there is a reference to making sure Service Pack 2 is installed for Office 2010 (if applicable). [Last paragraph of this post]

In your video you mentioned that you were cleaning up the file names, but I got the sense that it was due to long names being a problem ... did you take care of invalid characters also? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2933738 gives a lot of information about unsupported size, characters and more. It even references a limit of 20,000 files for syncing with OneDrive.

To the best of our knowledge, we have resolved all unsupported characters as well as file name issues that existed.  It still won't complete.  We only have the 2013 version and we stay up-to-date.  I have tried repair also a couple of weeks ago with no luck.  We do have OneDrive for Business but have not gone through the setup for it and there does not appear to be an uninstall.  We only need the free OneDrive application.

Microsoft did help me via chat without a fee.  Great news.  I am now using Google Drive as opposed to one-drive.
