Name change in Active Directory using Exchange 2003

I have a user that has just gotten married.  So of course the name has to be changed.  I have gone into active dir.  and changed her info to reflect her new name.  In active dir.  under the general tab I have made all the changes.  I then went to the account tab and changed all referances to the old name.  I then went to the email tab and changed the smtp information.  I also updated the x400 information.  Now the problem.  When she sends email her old name is still showing up as the person sending the mail.  Also in Active dir. the exchange alias shows the old name.  What am I doing wrong here.  I know that I could create a new account in AD and then move all the mail to that account, but I was just wondering if there was another way.  Thanks in advance.

Browse to the user name.  Left-Click on the name and then right-click on the name...select rename (or left-click on the name and hit F2).  Rename the account and the information that comes up in the pop-up box.
The other thing that you will want to do is change the Exchange display name.  It should be under the Exchange General tab.
I would suggest that you add an SMTP address for the new e-mail and set it to be the primary e-mail address, keeping the old e-mail address so that replies to her, from the internet, do not bounce.

...I would also suggest adding an additional X.400 and setting it as the primary rather than renaming the old one.
...The Exchange Advanced tab has the display name...not the Exchange General tab (that is the alias)...sorry.

I still show the exchange alias as being the old name.  Where do I go to make that change, because in the General Tab the name is the way I want it to read (not the old name).
