Calendar in Outlook 2003 was moved to a subfolder under Calendar - can't move it back to mailbox

Hi - I hope someone can help me - it is urgent that I get this resolved sooner than later.

Currently we are using Exchange 2000 w/client outlook 2003.  A user moved somehow-someway their calendar to a subfolder under the calendar.

Now -I right click on the calendar icon and I do not have the option to move it back under mailbox.  I can copy it, but if I click on the calendar folder under folder options it defaults to the calendar stored under the contacts  folder.  If I right click on calendar and select properties and then select the admin tab I only have normal to edit the location is pointing to the \\mailbox\users name\contacts\

How do I move this folder back so users can share his calendar.  We also use blackberry so I am afraid if I delete what the calendar defaults -then there will be a syncing view.  Also I tried to "remove from my calendar" under the contacts folder and selected add to my contacts folder for the copy I create under mailbox.  Then I receive an error that states operation failed.  I ended  up deleting the copy under mailbox and adding the calendar folder stored under contacts to show under contact folders.  It works.  We are migrationg to exchange 2003 and server 2003 in November and I would like this cleared up. Thanks

you can use the mfcmapi utility to do this. download it from here, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/291794/

let me know if you need more explicit steps, but you can install the utility on any machine with a profile built for this user. select that profile, go into their mailbox, then move the calendar back to the top of the information store.

kris.
btw, what i meant to convey was that you can use the mfcmapi utility to move the calendar to back to where it belongs.

tks,
kris.

booboobear,

were you able to run this procedure to fix your issue?

kris.
sorry for not responding.  Unknown to me the user is traveling for the next couple of weeks and his assistant doesn't want anything done to the mail account unless he is in the office  the bb can be checked etc.  I promise to provide an ans as soon as he returns.  However, I did play around in my mailbox and was able to move the calendar folder quite easily.  I will keep you posted check back the week after next and there will be an answer.  thanks
I want to thank everyone.  I moved the calendar back in position via OWA.  It worked like a charm and did not impact the blackberry.  My second choice would be the utility but based on my users always traveling the OWA was easier to try and eliminate as a possible solution.

thank you so much for your patience.  My users are on the road alot and I can't make any modifications that could jeopordize the blackberries to stop functioning or worse - mess up their mailboxes when they are traveling.

THANK you KristinaW very much for the suggestion.  The tool worked perfectly.  I had a user with her Junk Folder listed under her Tasks.  Ran mfcmapi utility and moved the folder.
