Hi
I just want to know in exchange system manager which node I have to go and copy what all the items to my backup store so that all our emails and configuration will be safe.
please advise somebody about this
Wow... you read those links in 8 minutes....? Your fast.
Why do you think System Manager is where you backup Exchange?
The e-mail addresses are part of Active Directory - to backup those, you need to backup the system state. To backup the Exchange databases, you backup the information store using a program like NTBackup - what else do you want to know - I have given you links that helps explain procedures for backing up exchange beyond this.

Hi Simon
That means I have to use some third party applications for exchange server backup alone you mean.

I didn't say that.
To quote what I wrote in the other question...
"To backup Exchange you need to use an Exchange aware backup application.
NTBACKUP on Windows with Exchange installed is Exchange aware. You can also purchase a third party application such as Backup Exec which is also Exchange aware. "
You can use a third party application if you wish, or you can use NTBACKUP.
Simon.
