The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Question re Exchange Server 2003 SP2 and why my outbound emails are getting delayed delivery reports or spammed by recipients

Asked by MPSmith4258 in Exchange Email Server

Tags: 2003, delivery, r2, delayed, exchange

Hi guys. I've just installed SBS2003 R2 so I am running Exchange 2003 Sp2. Prior to this was using Outlook 2003 as a pop3 client and using ISP SMTP to send emails to all our customers. Am really happy overall but ....

a) some (only a few) customers since we changed to Exchange say that our email to them is either always or intermittently getting put into their spam system. My question would be that our sending email address is the same so why would this be? Is it because in some subtle way Exchange delivery is different from the old ISP way?
b) perhaps related to the above. I am getting  more of the following delayed delivery reports eg;
This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

THIS IS A WARNING MESSAGE ONLY.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESEND YOUR MESSAGE.

Delivery to the following recipients has been delayed.

       artwork@bag-co.co.uk

My question here is; is this possibly an indication that our email to them is being treated as spam also? I though that all spam engines either rejected or accepted email, but is there a possiblity they might 'ignore' it thus triggering these delayed delivery reports?

Any help on these probably linked questions would be much appreciated!
