Email Server IPAddresses

Asked by rjohnsonjr in ISPs & Web Hosting

Tags: ipaddresses

How do big companies like Yahoo, Hotmail, and different mail list sites manage to keep their ipaddresses out of the black lists? I had one person do some spammin on my hosting server and the ipaddress is still in a couple lists.

Do they switch ip's often?

Do they have a bunch of mail servers they send mail through so a lot of spam complaints would not be bound to 1 IP?

Thanks!
