The oscommerce forum (forums.oscommerce.com) disallows this kind of question for insane reasons.
Hopefully someone here can help me.
I have a friend who is running a relatively successful ecommerce site (using a customized version of oscommerce). Unfortunately, their host has become very flaky and I need to help her move the site somewhere much more reliable.
Since I am not available to do much more osc customization and I don't have a lot of time to reconfigure the site at a new host, I am seeking the following from the new host:
- They can do all the migration for the client.
- Set up SSL
- Set up and test Authorize.net, Paypal, and a few other payment processors.
- Support osc (of course).
- Have programmers on-staff familiar with osc and can continue customizing her site as per her
instructions.
- Offers a reasonable monthly rate for hosting (her current host is gouging her for about $38 / month).
I am currently looking into HostW3 but since I am not allowed to ask the people who would more likely know, I feel kind of lost in finding a host with these specific requirements.
