Vista certificate error but not happening to WIN XP
I have setup a OCS edge server for my test env. I have a standalone CA issuing certs to all the OCS services.
I have two computer situate on the external network, one is the winxp os and the other is vista.
I imported the server root cert into the both of them.
When i run the communicator client on the winxp os, it WORKS beautifully. But
when i run the communicator on the vista, it prompted me server certificate error. I open up the ceriticate, and it is what is says " This certificate has expired or is not yet valid"
and event log:
"Communicator could not connect securely to server marcus28.no-ip.info because the certificate presented by the server was not trusted due to validation error 0x80090328. The issuing certificate authority (CA) for the server's certificate may not be locally trusted by the client, the certificate may be revoked, or the certificate may have expired."
please help..thanks..

I have the Same Problem with PC with Vista Bussines ( with XP works fine) but with vista i get the error:
The issuing certificate authority (CA) for the server's certificate may not be locally trusted by the client, the certificate may be revoked, or the certificate may have expired.
Im imported the certificate to Trusted Root certifications Authority but still dont work

When you import the cert into vista (or 2008 for that matter) manually select the Trusted Root Certification Authority store and also checkmark the box for Show Physical Stores.
