Question

Apache huge TIME_WAIT

Hello,

i have problem when my web server have alot of time_wait when im checking in by
netstat -apn , also the cpu too high , can i know how to fix it??

im Using Linux CentOS 5.2 64bit with cPanel

You cannot completely eliminate that TIME_WAIT state.

It's not the answer for your question, but may be helpful with apache tuning (which then can be helpful with decreasing your CPU load).

You got correct answer - you can't completely eliminate TIME_WAIT state.
