Asked by tarrigo in Microsoft IIS Web Server, Web Hosting, Web Application Hosting
The issue I am encountering is not being able to access a web site from home that I have hosted at our offices. I am able to access the site using a local IP address when in the building. I am also able to acccess the web server via Remote Desktop from home since we setup the firewall to route to this particular development server. The only problem is the site will not serve up web pages normally like it does from the internal IP. I am not sure what step I am missing in order to be able to view the site from home. I just want to access it via the public IP I use to Remote Desktop into it. Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
