I can not see the web sites we have created on shrepoint2007?

Hello, I'm kind of new in sharepoint 2007, I have not have any training just books and videos. We set up our sharepoint, sql in the same box. Dell server 2008, 4GMB and planty space. But the web sites we created we cant see on the web. We get and arror "page can not  be display" Help Please
