Making the server route all non-local IP-requests to a ISDN-routers

I've got a Red Hat 5.2 server running the standard kernel. I also have a DNS on it. I want it to route all IP-requestst that are not for our network segment to go to a ISDN-router (a 3COM OfficeConnect 511) which would call our ISP and make  an internet connection. I've got also a default route to a gateway (the router) configured.

I've tried anything I could figure out and read about all the HOWTO's on the networking (I think). I'm desperate.

What exactly is your problem? Is your default route not working?
Could you show us the output of route -n ?
Please let us know what the IP address is your router has on your network.

for the example:
the router has ip 192.168.2.1
your subnet is 192.168.2.0

route add -net 192.168.2.0 eth0
route add default gw 192.168.2.1

Whenever I configure a W95 with as DNS the Linux server and Gateway the router it whatever I do, it does not find the way out. Now, I know it is supposed to find a DNS for translation (I don't know where to put the ISP's DNS's in the DNS) but when I use the IP-address directly it doesn't work either.

The subnet is 192.168.221.0 .
The router has IP 192.168.221.42 (not very much according to standards) Does it have to be 1?
