setting up my network

Hello
I am not able to get my kernel to detect my Netgear FA310TX. when starts up according to #dmesg
what need to be down to get this network between my Linux Debian and w2k going?

Hi, I think a good approach would to set up samba on the linux machine and use that for file sharing

I have been reading

#man samba

#emacs /usr/share/samba/smb.conf

could you point me to some good reading on what values for what parameters in-order to get the card to connect?
after I changed few values and did testparm, it processed the relevant sections. Ok. then did a dump of service definitions. a looooong list. which of these params need to be what values for the FA310TX to work. or is there an easer approach?

the problem have bee solved.
the solution was not in installing samba but rather include the support of tulip driver in Network section of the kernel 2.4.21.
after recomiling the kernel with that driver, every thing worked fine.
