Routable ips and Firewall ?

I have 13 computers with public ips , and right now them are connected to net trough a modem/router (zyxel ).
I want to put between them ( 13 computers ) and modem a linux ( slackware 9.0 ) firewall. I want to make a firewall with iptables , but i dont want to use Nat , or I want to use nat , but I want every computer have its own ip ( public ip . something like 81.128.1.x ) .
I want the firewall to protect my internal network from outside attacks and floods.

In my linux box I heve 2 nics : eth0 ( external ) and eth1(internal network)
