A record MX record and RDNS record for the domain

Asked by D_wathi in Linux Networking, ISPs & Web Hosting, Web Servers

Dear Sir/Madam:

I have assigned a ip segment of 6 ip address from the ISP  but  i have used only one public ip ( 202.144.86.76)and the same is assigned to the linux box eth1 and eth0 is a private ip this linux box working as a router , for the public ip 202.144.86.76 MX record is mapped for my domain mail.xyz.com and RDNS is done .

what ever request comes to the public ip 202.144.86.76 for the port 80,21, 25, 143 , 443 is forwarded to the private ip 192.168.1.225 ( 192.168.1.225 is again a linux box it is a production server working as
1. ftp server
2. dns server
3, mail server
4, mysql server
5, samba server

Now we have registered a new domain for example abc.com  and want to run a appache webserver in the production server 192.168.1.225  now my doubt is since already the A record MX record and RDNS is done for the domain xyz.com is it possible to again add A record for the new domain abc.com for the same public ip address 202.144.86.76 .

only webserver required on teh producation server with new domain for this what sould be done , please help me on this , thanks in advance.
